<p><a href="https://theleafsnation.com/combinations">Toronto Maple Leafs</a> head coach Craig Berube told reporters that goaltender Anthony Stolarz is progressing in his recovery from injury, but he&#8217;s still not skating.</p>
<p>Joseph Woll is widely expected to start Game 4 on Sunday against the Florida Panthers.</p>
<p>Stolarz suffered an injury in Game 1, when Panthers forward Sam Bennett connected with his head. The 31-year-old left the arena on a stretcher, rejoined the team off the ice the following day, <a href="https://theleafsnation.com/news/craig-berube-doubts-anthony-stolarz-travel-florida-game-3-florida-panthers">but did not make the trip to Florida</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s progressing in the right direction. He has not skated yet,&#8221; Berube said of Stolarz during Saturday&#8217;s media availability.</p>
<p>Woll made 31 saves on 36 shots in Game 4, as the Panthers defeated the Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime. The 26-year-old allowed his first genuinely shaky goal of the series when Jonah Gadjovich tipped home a shot from Tomas Nosek, providing the Panthers with a 4-3 lead. Woll was backed up by Dennis Hildeby in Game 4, as Matt Murray was battling an illness.</p>
<p>&#8220;I thought he was really good,” Berube said of <a href="https://theleafsnation.com/news/joseph-woll-ready-move-on-first-postseason-loss-2023">Woll post-game</a>. &#8220;I don’t love the fourth goal. But other than that, I thought he was solid.&#8221;</p>
<p>It was Woll&#8217;s first postseason loss since 2023 and he&#8217;s ready to turn the corner.</p>
<p>&#8220;Shake it off,&#8221; Woll said post-game. &#8220;Bounces go both ways in hockey, just out on the wrong side. We’ve done a good job of sticking to our process. That’s what we fall back on.&#8221;</p>
<p>Stolarz started all six games during the Maple Leafs&#8217; first-round series against the Ottawa Senators, and while he&#8217;ll need to be cleared to return, it&#8217;s likely he&#8217;d resume his starting role upon returning from injury.</p>
<p>Toronto faces Florida in all-pivotal Game 4 on Sunday at the Amerant Bank Arena, where Woll will be looking for a resurgent start against the defending champions.
